The George Daniels Ceremony Watch, Number "00"

Leading the auction is the George Daniels Anniversary Spotter in platinum, bearing the coveted serial number, "00". Over the form of Daniels' lifetime, only 24 unique pocket watches were entirely hand-made by him, in improver to ii completely unique, hand‐made wristwatches. F.P.Journe Chronomètre Souverain Gifted to George Daniels past Francois-Paul Journe

Phillips is also honored to offering this unique and historically important F. P. Journe platinum Chronomètre Souverain wristwatch gifted to and endemic by George Daniels. The timepiece was a gift and tribute from François-Paul Journe to Daniels in recognition of their enduring friendship, and personalized with the movement engraved, "FP to George Daniels my Mentor 2010". Both Daniels and Journe had an appreciation and understanding of the 18th century main Abraham-Louis Breguet, and his work is reflected in both of their timepieces. They sought to introduce and better precision timekeeping with infrequent timepieces, that similar Breguet'southward timepieces, stand up the test of fourth dimension. Included with the sentry is a signed letter of the alphabet from Journe, noting in French, "Thanks to your publications as The Art of Breguet or Watchmaking, I have patiently learned on my workbench to make my first sentry, you know the rest."

Gimmicky, elegant, and archetype, this unique Chronomètre Souverain is the perfect lucifer between the genius of its creator and his predecessors. The nowadays example, owned and worn by the actor, is a medium-sized model of the Baignoire Paris dating to the 1960s. Preserved in outstanding original condition, the case bears the hawkeye'due south head hallmark for 18K gold imported to France, and a "Made in French republic" designation, corroborating the "Paris" dial. It was most notably seen and photographed on Garner's wrist during the 2000 premiere of Infinite Cowboys.
